What about a taste of Cezanne?
To mark Cezanne 2025, Aix-en-Provence’s culinary experts have come up with a collection of sweets in tribute to the painter. Some of the creations are exclusive, created especially for the event; others revisit emblematic recipes with packaging inspired by his visual world.
Each delicacy, whether sweet, savoury or delicately scented, tells in its own way a fragment of Cezanne’s Provence, a moment in his studio, a season, a light.
To be savoured with the eyes as well as the taste buds!
Biscuits d’Aix-en-Provence
These biscuits are a tribute to Cezanne’s muse, shaped like Sainte-Victoire and presented in metal tins decorated with the famous mountain. Available in two formats: 300g of orange blossom and lavender biscuits, and many other sweet flavours to discover (rose, fig, chocolate chips, cherry…) or 500g of Provençal navettes with aniseed or orange blossom. Calisson du Roy René
To celebrate Cezanne Year, Le Roy René is adorning its boxes of calissons and assorted confectionery with the colours and inspiration of the famous painter from Aix-en-Provence. A gourmet and artistic collection, between tradition and homage.

Chocolaterie de Puyricard

Since 1880, Fruidoraix, creator and confectioner, has sublimated the calisson like a work of art. To celebrate the year of Cezanne, discover the Calissons Cezanne 2025 box. When opened, a thin layer of ice on each calisson pays tribute to the painter, combining softness and elegance.
